Lights appeared in the forest around us, closing in from under the trees. We stood silent as small beings came into view, eight of them in all, each carrying a tiny glowing lantern.

I love Juliet Marillier too! The Shadowfell series is one of my all time favourites.

I haven’t encountered that one. I MUST get hold of it! I love the Sevenwaters and Wildwood series – her writing is beautiful and she spins a fabulous story…

If you like adventure fantasies with fae folk, I really recommend the Shadowfell series.
